APEX is Miami's oceanfront strength and recovery club — a private facility built for athletes who want serious training, medical-grade recovery, and coaches who know your name by week two.
Founded in 2019 by former Olympic strength coaches, APEX blends a heritage weight room with a modern medical wing. Small memberships, high touch — the whole team knows you.
You won't find a spinning studio at APEX. What you'll find is a 8,000 sq ft strength floor with 12 competition-grade platforms, an Olympic lifting pit, a full sled track, and enough plates for anyone to work at the same time on a Saturday morning.
You'll also find an ocean-view lap pool, a Finnish sauna, a hot jacuzzi, a cold plunge, a recovery wing with cryotherapy, red-light beds, and manual therapy rooms — plus a staff dietitian, an on-call sports medicine doctor, and a physio who works with the Miami Heat during off-season.
Capped at 1,800 members. You'll never wait for a rack.
Coaches, medical staff, recovery, nutrition — under one roof.
Direct boardwalk to South Beach. Sunrise runs included.
05:30 to 23:00, 7 days a week. Holidays too.
Every square foot of the club is designed around one question: does it make you train, or does it get in the way? If it's in the way, it's not here.
All memberships are month-to-month. Cancel any time with 30 days notice — no cancellation fees, but no refunds on the current cycle.
Strength floor, sauna, and group studios. Everything you need to lift and sweat.

A club is only as good as its staff. Ours has been coaching, treating, and feeding elite athletes for a combined 90 years. Meet six of them.
Former Team USA weightlifting coach. Programs strength for our Signature and Elite members, and runs the Barbell 101 clinic every Tuesday.
Sports medicine physician, on-call for Elite members. Runs quarterly bloodwork reviews and screens for training injuries before they happen.
Registered dietitian. Writes weekly meal plans for Elite members, quarterly reviews for Signature. Also teaches sunrise yoga three days a week.
Former super welterweight, 24–2. Runs kickboxing and sparring classes. Beginners welcome — his 9 am class is half executives, half early-shift lifers.
Doctor of physical therapy. Works with the Miami Heat during off-season. In-club two full days a week for Elite members and referrals.
Classical reformer training out of Rome. Runs the pilates studio and morning mobility. Deep tissue focus — every session leaves you two inches taller.
Doctors, lifters, moms in their fifties, a state senator, and one of the lifeguards from South Beach. Three of them agreed to be quoted.
"I've belonged to five gyms in Miami. APEX is the first one where the head trainer knew my form issue by week three and had a program ready for it."
"The dietitian rewrote my meal plan around one blood panel. Down 22 lbs in six months, PR'd my deadlift in the same window. Never happened at any other gym."
"I go for the strength floor. I stay for the sauna after, the ocean view from the pool, and the fact that nobody's on their phone."
Guided tour with a coach, 30 minutes on the floor, a smoothie at the bar, and no sales pitch. If APEX isn't your speed, we'll tell you.
Corner of Ocean Drive and 12th, right off the boardwalk. Valet in the front, bike racks in the back. Free guest pass for first-time visitors.
